Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a stockist of HerHue Earrings?

HerHue is currently on the look out for new stockists. Please email us at hello@herhue.com.au.

What does handmade mean?

Each one of HerHue earrings has been designed and crafted by me. This means that they are one of a kind and when you buy a pair (or two) you are directly supporting an individual / small business.

Due to the handmade nature of the earrings, they may have slight imperfections and inconsistencies. In no way does this affect the functionality of the pieces – It simply adds to their uniqueness.
I only ever sell items I would happily buy and wear myself.

Care Instructions

Treat your earrings with love and care, as you would any other piece of jewellery.
Be sure to store your HerHue earrings in a clean, dry place. The use of oils, creams, perfumes etc may affect longevity. Do not wear in water.

Earrings can be cleaned by gently rubbing with a soft, damp piece of cloth. If you happen to get make up on a light coloured pair of earrings, nail polish remover will clean it off.

What is Polymer Clay?

Polymer Clay is essentially a very malleable non-toxic plastic clay that sets into shape once baked in an oven. It is incredibly lightweight and is available in a huge range of fun colours.

Exchanges / Returns

Unfortunately due to hygiene reasons I cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of minds on earrings. However, if there are any issues when you receive your item please contact us as soon as possible at  hello@herhue.com.au.

Are HerHue earrings hypoallergenic?

Yes, all of our stud posts are hypoallergenic surgical grade stainless steel posts. They are perfect for sensitive ears.
Each post is baked into the Polymer clay. This ensures you will not have any issues with posts falling off due to glue failing.

Custom and Personalised Orders

Each pair of HerHue earrings is designed and handmade by me. This allows for a lot of freedom in regards to design. Therefore I am more than happy to discuss customised orders. If you have a design idea or a specific colour palette in mind please feel free to email hello@herhue.com.au to discuss.
